*****you install the program or you will be prompted to do so until you do. *****
***** We appologize for this ahead of time. ***** *******************************************************************
To Activate the Curtains Screen Saver program or to customize your settings:
1. Turn off any other screen savers you have running.
2. Go to the Apple Menu (located in the upper left corner of your screen),
then to Control Panels, then to Curtains, then to Curtains again.
The first thing you must do is agree to the Curtains License Agreement.
If you do not wish to agree to this agreement, select "I Decline" and
return the Curtains Screen Saver to the place of purchase. If you have
agreed continue on until you reach the Control Panel where you may
customize your settings. The Curtains screen saver program does not
use any extensions so you should not run into any extension conflicts.
Screen Saver Features:
Control Panel:
"On/Off" This sets Curtains as the active screen saver or turns
it off.
"Set Timer" Sets the time of computer inactivity before the screen
saver launches.
"Movie
Selection" Allows you to select which screen saver movies are
active. You may also play the screen savers manually
from this location.
"Resolution" This feature allows you to work in one resolution
(832 x 624 e.g.) and view the screen savers in a
640 x 480 screen resolution which will fill your
entire screen. When you go back to work, Curtains
will automatically return you to your previous
screen resolution. This feature will not work on
systems using two monitors.
****WARNING**** IF YOU HAVE TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER
EACH TIME YOU CHANGE THE RESOLUTION, DO NOT USE THIS
FEATURE!
"Password" Allows you to protect your data from prying eyes if you
happen to be gone from your computer. You must type in
your personal password before the screen saver will go
away.
****WARNING**** If you forget your password, the only
way to get back into your computer is to shut it off and
enter in a new password when it comes back on. You will
lose all unsaved information and it's not good for your
computer so REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD!
"Interval" This feature allows you to change the frequency in which
the screen savers in your "active" window (located in
movie selection) are shown. You have the following five
choices:
1. Change screen saver movie each time
2. Change screen saver movie each day
3. Change screen saver movie each week
4. Change screen saver movie each month
5. The "Link" feature will link all of the
Screen Savers together and play them
sequencially.
"Sound" Here you can set the volume for your screen savers or
you can mute them. There is a feature under "Options"
which will mute the sound if you leave the cursor in the
lower right corner of your screen.
If the screen saver is running and you want to mute the
sound, simply press the "M" key. To turn the sound back on,
press the "M" key again.
"To Our
Website" This allows you direct access to our Website. If your
browser does not automatically launch your modem and
connect you to the internet or if you use AOL, you must be
signed on to the internet before using this feature. If
all else fails, our address is:

If you have problems with the sound, pictures, or performance, it is
because your computer's processor is too slow or you do not have
enough RAM. On certain older computers which conform to our system
requirements, it is possible that you can run into performance
problems. This is because of the way the computer's internal
architecture was designed. If your computer meets all of the system
requirements listed above and you still run into performance problems,
please contact us at the address listed below.
We have many more screen savers planned for release in the near future.
You may order them from our website in a collection as in the "Yosemite
Collection", or you may order them individually by downloading them
directly from our website.
